While studying Architecture abroad in Melbourne, I bought my first watch to commemorate living alone for the first time. Its serial number happened to align with my name and birth year, and that coincidence made me realize that watches could hold deep sentimental value. From there, I fell down the rabbit hole
NUANCE was born from a quiet but persistent idea: that the smallest details in life often carry the deepest meaning. For me, watches were never just about telling time - they were about capturing memory, emotion, and the subtle textures of daily life. I wanted to create a watch that didn’t just sit on the wrist, but carried with it a story, a sense of nostalgia, and a reflection of the moments we often overlook.
The journey started with sketches, late-night notes, and countless reflections on what truly makes an object timeless. I had no corporate background, no formal training in finance, and no safety net beyond my own savings. But what I did have was a clear vision: to design something rooted in nuance—where the everyday becomes extraordinary.
